Get ready for big clouds, this one is a beast. The Ghost MV1 is an on-demand portable vaporizer that works with both dry herbs and concentrates.

Ghost MV1 Description

WARNING: We have just learned that Ghost Vapes has ceased to exist. They mismanaged their money. We are cutting the price in half to get rid of current stock, but that means you may not get warranty support from Ghost.

The Ghost MV1 has made waves in its short existence. It's a portable vaporizer that hits like a desktop unit. The Mighty has been the undisputed king of the portable world and the MV1 is nipping at its heels.

Here are a few standout features:

  • It has on-demand convection heating, meaning that you can be vaping your herb in under 20 seconds. You don't have to wait around for it to heat up.
  • On-demand heating means that you can also have much shorter sessions than a regular vaporizer. This allows for micro-dosing instead of having to finish an entire bowl.
  • The MV1 creates intense and flavourful vapor. You can pull some big clouds once you learn how to use it.
  • You can pick your perfect temperature from the bluetooth app (App currently removed from Apple store but still available for Android users. Temperature can be controlled without the need of an app), powered by your mobile phone.
  • The Ghost MV1 has a great battery life and will last you around 60 draws. That should get you through the day. But the batteries are also replaceable so you can carry around an extra pack too!

It's exciting to see a vaporizer like the Ghost MV1 come along. Until this point on-demand convection vaporizers has been limited to the Firefly. Ghost has really stepped it up a notch with their design and functionality.

It's not all perfect though. You do have to load crucibles in order to use the MV1. These can be a little tricky to load, especially if you aren't very dexterous. We wouldn't recommend the MV1 to an elderly person. 

Overall though it's a fantastic vaporizer that delivers huge clouds.

Awesome product - super smooth draw, love it

Great product. This is my first Vape so don't have anything to compare it to but I'm very happy. My only issue is using the mode button and getting used to the mode levels etc. But this is a user thing not the product. Unbelievably smooth, never experienced anything like it as far as the smoothness goes. No throat burn at all. Like breathing :) Love it.

The reviews weren't exaggerating when it comes to this kit. Excellent vapour, Easy, variable draw, extremely well built. Fitting the herb capsule can be a bit finicky and there are a few parts to disassemble and clean but, pound for pound, this is up there with the Mighty!

Great vaporiser and easy to use

As a medicinal cannabis patient I was in need of a high quality vaporiser that was easy to use, and that is exactly what the Ghost mv1 is! Comes with instructions but pretty easy to figure out comes with different heat settings and an adjustable mouth piece. Only thing bad thing I can say about it is that you need to download an app to utilise your custom settings although I have found it wasn't necessary to do this.
Again this is a great vape worth every cent.

There are many things to love about the Ghost MV1, but there is definitely room for improvement on this product. The things I love about it are the flavour quality, the on demand vaping, and the battery life. I charge overnight and go all day without worrying about the battery. The extra crucible dispenser is also well worth it for saving time and fuss when on the go, which is great for me as I use it mainly for tobacco. I should also point out that I found the learning curve for this vape was not as difficult as some suggested. I had great clouds of vape from the get go.

There are two main gripes I have though. One is very minor, and relates to the fact that you have to have your phone handy to change the temperature settings or check battery levels. This can be a hassle when Bluetooth connections are playing up. I wish there was a way to quickly change the temperature between favourite settings on the device rather than through the phone.

A bigger issue is the latch on the crucible door. Prior to purchasing, I noted that other people had had issues with this, but I decided to take a gamble due to the overwhelmingly good reviews on the vape quality, battery life etc. After two weeks of use, the latch on my vape has failed, so it needs a rubber band around it to hold the door shut. I’m happy enough to work with this because of all the things I love about the vape, but I would hope that future versions will have a better designed latch that isn’t as prone to breaking.
